The Book Lovers Codex

I am a twenty-something, happily married, mother of one who loves books. I love reading them. I love looking at them. I love their smell. Libraries and bookstores are my holy places... No I'm not being blasphemous. Books are my religion and if you don't like that then you're probably reading the wrong blog I love ebooks too. I love how my Kindle can hold thousands of books and wherever I go in the world they can come with me. I love how the emergence of ebooks has resulted in more books being published than ever before - for better or for worse My love of books is the reason for this blog. I want to share it with other people who love books, I'm opinionated and passionate and I want to share those opinions with you and see what you think, do you agree or disagree? I want to hear your opinions and your recommendations... Basically I want to share the book love! I will pretty much read anything that is a romance but I mainly read paranormal romance, urban fantasy, new adult, young adult, and erotica... Plus the odd book here and there that is not a romance of any description! So that's what to expect from this blog. If you like what you see, please follow!
Bound by Night - Larissa Ione * ARC granted by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review *

I had never before read a Larissa Ione novel before reading this one, many had previously caught my eye but I just hadn't made reading one a priority and for that I am truly sorry as I have been missing out on reading awesomeness (it's a word, lol) if this book is anything to go by.

I received this book as an ARC back in July but since it wasn't due for publication until this month I delayed reading it so that if I loved it, I could shout about it loudly.... SO CONSIDER THIS ME SHOUTING ABOUT IT LOUDLY :-)

I loved the premise of this story, but the book blurb doesn't exactly describe the story very well (but it's close enough).
I loved the main characters (Riker - swoon) and there is an amazing cast of supporting characters (who I'd love to see stories for in the future).
The general world that was created is just grand... I really enjoyed Larissa Ione's take on vampires and I can't wait to see how this all evolves...
I'm so excited for the next instalment which was very nicely set up at the end of this book and yeah... I'm sorry this is all a bit vague but I don't want to spoil it for anyone!! It's so good you really need to see for yourself...
It is well written, it's incredibly sexy and it's funny...

Honestly, I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good paranormal romance... I can't see any reason why PNR fans wouldn't like it and I will be adding Larissa Ione to my "to buy" list on amazon!

5 out of 5 stars!
